ProStart




 The mission of the Ohio Restaurant Association Education Foundation is to prepare Ohio high school students for top wage, high-skilled careers in the foodservice and restaurant industries through the ProStart Program.  As the sole provider of the ProStart Program in the state of Ohio, the ORAEF is committed to focusing on the following three areas:

ProStart encourages young talent in culinary programs offered in seven area technical schools. The ProStart curriculum  is a restaurant management program developed by the National Restaurant Association for high school juniors and seniors. Through education and mentoring, ProStart brings continuity and state-of-the-art education to prepare today's culinary students for their place in tomorrow's restaurant industry.
