My great-grandfather, James Concannon, traveled from Ireland and began making extraordinary wines in the rocky soil of Livermore Valley in 1883.  Over 125 years later, his dream of creating world-class Bordeaux and Rhône-style wines is evident in every facet of Concannon Vineyard, from our landmark winery to our award-winning wines, including America's First Petite Sirah.  We invite you to taste the fruit of our vineyards and experience the legacy and intrigue of Concannon, where my great-grandfather's vision is still alive in every glass of Concannon wine.

With a focus on renewable energy, we have installed solar panels on 80% of our winery’s roof.  All of these efforts are designed with one goal in mind, to create extraordinary wines that would make James Concannon proud
