The Central Ohio Restaurant Association Foundation was established in 2008 with a simple goal:  to show that the Central Ohio Restaurant Association (CORA) and it's many members care.  As an organization whose mission is to promote a storng and innovative restaurant industry, CORA hosts fund-raising events throughout the year.  Now housed under The Columbus Foundation, the CORA Foundation can more easily channel raised funds to a number of worthwhile charities.  In its first year, the Foundation raised thousands of dollars for the Mid-Ohio Food Bank.  They have also made a substantial contribution to Pro-Start, a program offering education to those making a career in the food service industry.  The CORA Foundation is built on the premise of giving back to the community and showing thAT "CORA Cares".
